4 ingredients DIY mask for thirsty skin!

This cucumber-turmeric mask is the perfect cooling-moisture boost your skin needs during hot summer. All you need is 4 ingredients (organic whenever possible) and a sofa to chill. Oh and did we say it has a gorgeous sunny color and will leave your skin radiant?

- 1/4 small cucumber, juiced

- 3 teaspoons kaolin clay

- 1 teaspoon raw / organic honey

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (curcuma) powder

Step 1: juice the cucumber. Don't feel self-defeated if you don't have a fancy juicer: a cheese grater and coffee filter or cheese clothe will do just fine. Grate the cucumber, gather the shreds into the filter / cheese clothe, and press to extract the juice...done!

Step 2: mix the clay and turmeric in a small bowl, stir well. Clay gives a deep cleanse to your pore, and is gentler than scrubs, while turmeric has amazing anti-inflammatory properties, and calms any reactive, sensitive skin.

Step 3: add cucumber juice slowly and stir, until texture is smooth but not too runny.

Step 4: add honey and stir well. These 2 ingredients have great moisturizing and skin-soothing properties, while cucumber can also tighten pores and help reduce swollen eyes / dark circles.

Step 5: apply to your face with a brush and leave for 20mn or until dry. You can use the 20mn for a bit of "me" time and drink the cucumber juice leftover...remember skin glow comes from the inside first! I also like to cut 2 cucumber slices and let them sit on my eye-lids...timeless trick for tired eyes! Rinse off with water after 20mn.
